Beginning as an enthusiastic community leader, then acting as WB Community Manager for Superman Returns, responsibilities included: managing a several-thousand member forum; updating and maintaining a community portal with, at it’s peak, over one million unique visits per month; liaising between studio and core community base; delivering exclusive video content to the web; fostering constructive relationships between studio and fan base.
Highlights:
● Attracted the attention of Warner Brothers and acclaimed director Bryan Singer to partner for key community initiatives, including exclusive video journals chronicling the development of Superman Returns
● Created a new community environment for Superman fans by incorporating a new focus on optimistic, respectful relations between the fan base and WB
● Expanded the site from just two hundred members in its first year to over ten thousand members and hundreds of thousands of unique visits per month by its second anniversary. By the third anniversary the site had 1.2 million readers per month and 30,000 weekly podcast listeners.
